Xtralis VESDA inline filters provide a simple and cost-effective solution for addressing a variety of harsh environments with high levels of airborne contaminants.

VESDA inline filters improve detector longevity and reduce maintenance frequency and provide superior performance compared to other in-line filtration solutions. VESDA filters have a tapered inlet and can easily be fitted in line with the sampling pipe without the need for additional pipe fittings. This keeps the cost of installation at an absolute minimum.

Xtralis VESDA inline filters also have replaceable filter element. This means that they can be replaced without removing the filter from the pipe network, thus keeping maintenance simple and cost-effective.

The filter’s elegant design integrates smoothly into the installation and up to four filters can be installed side-by-side on multi-pipe installations. Xtralis inline filters are available with red, grey or metal finishes.

How it works

Xtralis VESDA inline filters have arrows on the filter cover which indicate the direction of the airflow to ensure that the filter is installed correctly. As the air enters the filter housing, it passes through the filter elements that are positioned at a fixed angle in the filter housing. The positioning of the filter maximises the surface area that is exposed to the airflow, maximising the contact area and promoting a longer filter life.
